Indulge in a immersive culinary experience with Chef Ian Kittichai at Khum Hom. The Sumrub Chef’s Table celebrates the Thai tradition of gathering around a shared table, where a balanced selection of dishes is presented together on a traditional Sumrub tray.

Samrub is a Thai-style dining experience. It is a set of dishes brought to the table together, each chosen to compliment the others. Heat is met with salt, sourness with richness. Nothing is ranked, and nothing is meant to be eaten alone. 

From September, Chef Ian Kittichai reshapes Khum Hom’s Chef’s Table around this tradition. The September edition, From Heartland to Peninsula: Two Regions, One Table, sets the canal-side gardens of Central Thailand beside the coastline of the South: crisp savoury tartlets and curry puffs to open, salads of banana blossom and pink guava, then the table filling with Andaman shrimp tom yum, grilled striploin in a curry cut with wood sorrel, and steamed fish curry served with green papaya a-jard. Dessert is pandan crêpe with young coconut and custard ice cream.
